S.W.I.M.R.S. Program

The Aquatic Adventures S.W.I.M.R.S. program is designed for children ages 4 and up. With a focus on safety and proper stroke mechanics — children will learn to become strong, confident swimmers. Groups are small, no more than 3 per class, in order to provide individual attention to children.

Seal

The foundation for all swimming skills must begin with: comfort, survival skills, and proper body alignment for skill development. Instructors will focus on the basics, floating, gliding, breath control, etc., in preparation for stroke development.

Walrus

Confidence grows with continued work on, breath control, gliding, changing positions, and development of kicking skills.

Ice Fish

We build on our foundation and gain some independence by strengthening kicking skills, and introducing stroke work.

Macaroni Penguin

Strength, endurance and independence are developed as children complete Freestyle and Backstroke skills.

Risso's Dolphin

Breast stroke skills are the developed in this level while children continue to build more endurance through practice of Freestyle and Backstroke.

Spinner Shark

Butterfly skills are developed in our final level. Children will continue to practice freestyle, backstroke, and breast stroke and work on building endurance in preparation for joining a swim team or just to be a strong recreational swimmer.
